WEEK ONE WELCOME EVENT

Now in its fifth year, Stage Sound Services provided the University of Wales Institute Cardiff (UWIC) with a complete presentation package to transform its National Indoor Athletic Centre into a venue to welcome and present to its new students.

2000 plus students attended the day’s events which started with presentations from UWIC’s Principal and key staff, followed by introductions and information from the Student’s Union president. An extensive exhibition and seating areas were supplied and installed by Denbe Western, gave the students the opportunity to explore the Universities facilities and join the many associations, clubs and societies before starting their ‘Fresher’s week’.

Services from Stage Sound included a 50ft wide backdrop, main presentation stage with assisted ramp, set and stage lighting and multiple projection screens to support the PowerPoint slides, DVD playback, Camera relay and Palentypist facilities.
