TRUE TASTE AWARDS 2011

Stage Sound Services is now in its 5th year as the nominated supplier of presentation equipment and technical support for the True Taste Awards. For this years’ Awards Stage Sound provided a flown D&B speaker system with Yamaha M7 digital desk and Shure radio microphones. Multiple projection screens using a mix of Panasonic’s latest 10K and 6K HD projectors displaying PowerPoint slides of the winners and nominations, sponsors of the event, Video inserts and live ‘onstage’ footage of the presenters and award winners.

All Video and PowerPoint content was run via QLAB software through a series of Barco High Definition switchers. Lighting consisted of mix of generic stage and room lights and 20 Robe LED and moving head lights which were hung from the venue’s truss system. The technical rig was designed, installed and operated by a team of experienced Stage Sound technical engineers.

The event was fully managed by Freshwater who also produced and supplied all the Visual content. The camera relay system, event recording and presenter autocue system was supplied by Enfys digital television facilities.

This year’s Awards were staged at Venue Cymru, Llandudno, North Wales and was attended by 550 suppliers and manufacturers of Welsh produce and included the awards nominees and their guests.
