A Good Night Out in the Valleys

SSS recently supplied the sound and video equipment for the very first National Theatre of Wales' production, A Good Night Out in the Valleys.
The production was directed by the Company's Artistic Director JOHN E MCGRATH and received tremendous reviews. The production opened at Blackwood Miner's Institute and toured to four South Wales venues.
The sound system was made up of SFX show control software which was used to create a 5.1 surround sound system. The speakers used were from our d&b range, and coupled with a Yamaha LS9 sound desk for operation.
The show control system was designed to make the cues a 'one button' operation which proved essential as the soundscape totaled over 300 cues! The system was designed for touring, with bespoke racks for ease and efficiency for venue load in and out.
