39 Steps

Playing the West End, Broadway and a UK Tour, Alfred Hitchcock’s classic spy thriller, The 39 Steps, has been brilliantly and hilariously recreated as the smash hit Olivier Award Winning Best New Comedy.
This blissfully funny show follows the incredible adventures of our handsome hero Richard Hannay, complete with stiff-upper-lip, British gung-ho and pencil moustache as he encounters dastardly murders, double-crossing secret agents, and, of course, devastatingly beautiful women. This wonderfully inventive and gripping comedy thriller features four fearless actors, playing 139 roles in 100 minutes of fast-paced fun and thrilling action.SSS are supplying the sound system for the UK tour from April 2010. 
The show is touring to Manchester, Norwich, Durham, Birmingham, Cork, Wexford, Dublin and Nottingham until June 2010. 
This production was launched at the Liverpool Playhouse in December 2009.The specification is similar to previous productions of this size, consisting of a cue one dual SFX show playback system, Yamaha DME24 digital mix engine, Lab Gruppen amplification and Tannoy V12 loud speakers. The playback mix engine and amplification have been built into a custom rack for quick and reliable touring.
