QLab based media servers offer an unparalleled combination of powerful video functionality and ease of use. Due to it's well designed and simple cue-list based programming environment most people can be trained to program and operate a simple show in half a day. Additionally once they have gained the basic principles behind programming a simple show they will easily pick up the skills required to program a more complex show.
QLab allows you to simply drop your video files into your QList, where they are instantly converted into video cues ready to be played. Alternatively, they can be complemented with additional Animation cues that allow you to manipulate the scale, rotation and opacity of a clip instantly. QLab also supports the use of any Quicktime compatible video capture device to bring live video in to your project, all controllable from a simple timeline. All this, combined with support for Quartz based effects and full midi in/out control allows vast creative opportunities for a very easy to use "drag and drop" interface.
All of our systems, as standard, ship with both Version 1 and the much improved Version 2 of QLab, usually running the latest current release, though this can be customised to your requirements. We are also able to provide a wide selection of hardware configuration options to meet your requirements. These include multiple types of live video capture and single or multiple (up to 3) video outputs at a computer level. We can also provide scan converters or scalers should you need to feed a video level device directly. All our Mac Pro based systems are fitted with the latest in Graphics and HDD technology, featuring high end graphics cards and SSD drives to hold your content. For simpler shows we are able to offer the latest generation Mac Mini, capable of running a single output show and taking up only a fraction of the space of our larger systems.
We can also facilitate many different types of control, from our own USB based control boxes to Midi or MSC control from a wide selection of lighting and sound desks. We can also offer fully integrated control of our Panasonic projectors within your QLab cue list, this enables you to Lamp on/off, as well as control the projectors shutter with the same drag and drop ease as loading your videos.
For added peace of mind we are able to provide fully redundant backup systems, which at a single button push can switch all your video outputs to your second machine.
At request, we are also able to provide full audio playback facilities for our video based systems. This allows smaller budgets to save on the rental costs of two systems, as well as ease the integration of the two systems for the operator of the show.
