Cata-Lynx I/P™ is a rack mounted DMX512 to Art-Net Ethernet converter with two universes. It replaces the previous product Cata-Lynx.
It is aimed squarely at the light and video convergence market for use with media servers. Cata-Lynx I/P provides a cost effective and elegant method to remote control any Art-Net compliant media server such as the High End Systems Catalyst or Scene Change Hippotizer. It can also be used with Art-Net compliant visualisation software such as the Cast Lighting's WYSIWYG and Design & Drafting's LD Assistant.
Cata-Lynx I/P is designed with all data cable entries at the front of the product, including two DMX512 inputs via 5-pin XLR and a latching network connection via Ethercon. The universal mains input connector is located on the rear of the unit.
Configuration is as simple as selecting the required universe on the front panel wheel selections. Alternatively, the product can be remotely configured using the free of charge DMX-Workshop software via the network or the internal web-server.
